Trina Solar Ltd. climbed during the first half hour of trade Thursday and advanced further in the early portion of the afternoon. The stock finished up by $2.82 at $45.57 on the highest volume of the year. Shares have been rising for the last 2 1/2 weeks and closed at another new high for the year.
